The site could be split into two parts,one as stores/restaurants/cafes for local people's daily leisure life,another one as green space for children/family

Green space facing outwards to invite more people in,(but there is some risk of getting affected by pollution/noise from the road) the stores/restaurants/cafes next to the green space should include some 'kids-friendly' theme.

The stores/restaurants/cafes at this side should be open up to the public to create an atmosphere of positive urban life.

The volumn of the building is split up into two and a 'street' can be created in between, the stores/restaurants/cafes at two sides are open up to this 'street' (e.g. outdoor seating)

To avoid risk of pollution/noise,one of the solution is to move the green space to this side.

Flow of pedestrian in between the store units on ground floor can avoid abruption of circulation

In KURVE 7 project,the upper floor is not a continue space,which is unnecessary for newton street site.​

The use of balcony can enhance the spatial hierachy and also provide some solar shading for ground floor.

The connection between two levels is a thin staircase, while for newton street there is the opportunity to combine that with the green space.
