A rooftop park might be interesting,but it's not compeletely 'rooftop',instead,a curved surface is used to connect ground floor and the 'rooftop',while the space under the surface is the commercial part.
This coner is the direction which commercial space faces to,maximum sunlight could be achieved by doing so.
There is a safety risk when children get to the highest point of the rooftop,thus the angle of the slope and the barrier should be carefully considered.
There might be some very awkward space under the lowest point of the rooftop,maybe too small to use.
In this case installation for kids are less likely to be built due to the slope,but the slope itself could be an installation for kids.
Glass facade is a good way to build visual connection but it depends on a big area,while Newton st site does not have enough area for a square therefore there maybe no needs for a visual connection.
But it seems difficult for this kind of architecture to build a response with surrounding building/environment.
